Our standard opening hours are:

Mon to Fri: 07.30 - 17.30
Saturday: 07.30 - 13.00

Dublin Depot

How do I Hire?

You can place an order to hire in two ways:

In Store:

How do I open/apply for an Drogheda Hire & Sales credit account?

If you are a company who wishes to hire on a regular basis with up to 30 days credit please call into your local branch to disguss 

if this is an option.

 

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Deposits are required for select hire equipment only. 

 

Is there a charge for delivery/collection?

Rates for delivery and collection vary with distance and will be quoted when you place your reservation.

Deliveries are normally made Monday to Friday between 7:30am and 17.30pm and Saturday between 7:30am and 1:00pm.

Transport planning is based on a delivery projection, we strive to have deliveries within a 1/2-hour time window.

 

How do I arrange off-hire or collection?

Finished with the machine you’ve hired from Drogheda Hire & Sales? Just call 041-9841419 or 01-9108757

Simply quote your contract number - we’ll cease the hire and give you a confirmation off-hire number. Equipment will be collected at the earliest opportunity convenient for you, usually the next working day. (Items remain under your responsibility until collected by Drogheda Hire & Sales)

 

Do I need Identification to Hire?

We request two forms of identification:

 

Photographic ID:

Drivers licence or passport.

 

Proof of Address:

Current utility bill or bank statement.

 

How do I Pay?

All major credit cards are accepted. In most cases this means that your hire is completed before your card statement is due. For long-term hires, charges are made at two week intervals.

 

Cash or Debit Card?

Cash or Debit cards are accepted at our depot. First time customers may be asked for a refundable security deposit.

 

What is my Responsibility for Equipment Return?

Equipment remains on hire until returned to Drogheda Hire & Sales.

If you require a collection, please telephone and ensure you obtain an ‘off-hire’ number. Security of equipment remains your responsibility until returned or collected by us.

 

What if something is Broken, Damaged or Missing?

We do charge for broken or damaged equipment. Be sure equipment is secured when not in use and protected from vandalism or loss. You should always ensure you are adequately covered by insurance as it is the customer’s full responsibility to protect all equipment against loss or damage.

 

What's the difference between 110v tools and 240v tools?

240v are traditionally used in domestic circumstances, using mains electricity. 110v tools are usually used on building sites. 110v tools can be run from the mains, but will require a transformer to do so. Both are safe when used properly.
