About the CQMS Show
The Construction and Quarrying Machinery Show (CQMS) is one of the most important industry events in Ireland. This biannual show has attracted over 10,000 visitors in its latest editions, mainly comprising professionals from various sectors such as construction, waste management, quarrying and mining. The event provides a fantastic opportunity for professionals to come together and network with suppliers, buyers and manufacturers.
In this unique setting, exhibitors showcase their latest products and services, providing attendees with an opportunity to keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in the industry.
A key feature of the CQMS Show is the live machine exhibitions. The CQMS Exhibition is renowned for its large demonstration areas. In these areas, spectators are able to witness first hand working machine displays for quarry plant, recycling machinery and waste management equipment. The Molloy Quarry site also includes a tipper truck driving range, as well as demonstrations of access equipment, electric plant machinery, big excavators, mini diggers, demolition tools and much, much more.

What we will be showcasing
Drogheda Hire & Sales has an extensive range of plant, access equipment and tools available for hire or purchase. At the CQMS Show, we will be placing a special emphasis on our latest range of powered access machines, excavators, dumpers and excavator attachments.
Among the products we will be showcasing, visitors will be able to see:
- The JLG 1250 AJP articulated diesel boom lift. This is a highly versatile aerial work platform that is designed to provide exceptional reach and access in a wide range of applications. Featuring a working height of up to 125 feet (38.1m) and a horizontal outreach of up to 63.2 feet (19.25m), the JLG 1250 AJP includes an advanced hydraulic system, robust steel construction and user-friendly controls. With a maximum load capacity of 450 kg on the platform, 360° turret rotation and four-wheel drive, this articulated boom lift has been designed to meet the challenges of even the most demanding sites.
- Tracked hoists such as the Hinowa 51 ft (15.70m) and 65 ft (20.1m) spider hoists. These hoists combine spider-format stabilising outriggers with a versatile tracked boom carriage. These compact hoists are designed for use in confined spaces, offering a safe working load of 230 kg.
- The Hinowa Lightlift Performance IIIS 109 ft (33.17m) tracked spider hoist. Ideal for both indoor and outdoor projects, this bi-energy tracked boom lift can switch between diesel and electric operation, to suit job requirements. Offering all of the benefits of a high-reach boom lift with the versatility only a spider lift can offer, this machine provides a 230kg SWL in its spacious 1.6m x 1.4m basket.
- The JIBBI U-1570 EVO, an ultralight telescopic crawler platform with a sturdy yet light aluminium alloy structure, with a total weight of less than 2,900 kg for easy transportation. It has a working height of up to 50 ft (15.4m) and employs automatic levelling systems to compensate for slopes during transport and self-level the machine during operation.
Our range of excavators and dumpers is complemented by an extensive range of digger attachments, compatible with all of our diggers up to 21 T. These digger attachments are designed to provide unparalleled versatility, offering users the possibility of utilising excavators for a wide variety of specialised purposes including breaking hard surfaces, drilling at depth, trimming hedges and a great number of other functions.
