Drogheda Hire & Sales, part of the AER Rents Group, is a leading Plant Hire Company with almost 30 years’ experience in the sector. Our extensive fleet includes a wide range of machinery, from ¾ ton – 21 ton Excavators, 6m – 17m Teleporters and up 60ft Scissor Lifts.

Our Head Office is based in Drogheda, Co.Louth. We also a branch on the Long Mile Road, Dublin 12.

We are currently looking to recruit the ideal candidate for the exciting role of Purchasing Administrator for our head office in Drogheda.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate with suppliers to obtain purchasing agreements that support our business.
  • Generate and monitor purchase order numbers for all purchases.
  • Source products and parts from suppliers as required.
  • Agree and monitor product delivery times.
  • Work closely with other departments to make informed buying decisions.
  • Interact with accounts payable to ensure purchase invoices reconcile.
  • Implement corrective action when required within the purchasing process.
  • Communicate with goods-inwards to create a synergy between both departments.
  • Create and maintain SKU’s for products.
  • Set min/max levels for fast moving items.
  • Generate weekly purchasing and sales reports.

Ability to commute/relocate:

Mell, Drogheda, Co. Louth: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
